Nigerian Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) operated Joint Venture is not pleased with the illegal possession of its gas plants by the youths in Rivers State. Spokesman for SPDC, Mr Joe Obari said the company already spent N352million on schools, sanitation, electricity, walkways and health outreach programmes and still the youths took over the stations illegally on Friday demanding that the company's license be revoked and re-awarded to another indigenous oil firm. The Heads That Agreed

A 600MW combined-cycle power plant Heads of Agreement (HoA) deal has been signed by Energi Nusantara Merah Putih (ENMP) jointly with the industrial tenants of the Bantaeng Industrial Park (KIBA) to bring LNG to markets that are currently off-grid. Construction of 20,000 barrels per day refinery in Lagos State receives a major boost after signing a grant by the United States Trade and Development Agency. The Chairman, Eko Petrochem and Refinery Company, Mr. Emmanuel Iheanacho expressed joy as he revealed the $797,343 (N 295,016,910) will help speed up the project. We hope so too.
