Gas-powered Vehicles set to hit African market

SEAT, a major Spanish automaker has inaugurated a multi-brand vehicle assembly plant in Algeria, in a bid to stimulate the market for compressed natural gas-powered vehicles. With over 73,500 km of natural gas pipelines, Algeria meets most of its energy needs using hydrocarbons and plans to convert 11,000 buses to CNG by 2030.
