Fall in Nigeria’s Gas production

Gas production in Nigeria fell by 0.03 per cent in November 2017 compared to the month of October. The data which was disclosed in the NNPC monthly financial report for November, revealed an average power generation of 3,115 MW in the country. South Africa to take coal south!

South Africa, Africa’s largest producer of greenhouse gas emissions is undergoing an energy transition from use of coal that is set to massively increase demand for natural gas. The country plans to add more generating capacity fueled by natural gas and renewable energy by 2030. A call for Modular Refineries in Nigeria

The President of ANE, Chief Sunny Jackson Udohhas called for the establishment of locating modular refineries in the oil and gas free zones which would cut cost of such investments because of the regime of incentives that exempts free zone enterprises from import duties and other forms of taxation.
