The South-West geo-political zone's cooking gas (Liquefied Petroleum Gas- LPG) market is the 2nd largest cooking gas market in Nigeria. It makes up 20% of the Nigerian cooking gas market. With the shift towards cleaner energy and government support nationwide; the cooking gas industry is a viable investment area.

Being an essential household good, it has been (relatively) shielded from COVID-19 shock. Cooking gas demand in the South-West zone is projected to grow by 15% in the next 12 months.
