P&GJ reported that with Baker Hughes' delivery of the first two liquefaction trains to the project site in Cameron Parish, La., Venture Global LNG moved a step closer to beginning its Calcasieu Pass LNG export plant.

Each train was successfully unloaded and brought to the Calcasieu Pass site, which was delivered complete and ready for installation, and put under a day.

The first and second of the 18 identical lines of the project will be linked to their Chart brazed, cold boxes, of which 8 are already locally built.
